Clean Romance Books Set in Tennessee

Tennessee is home for me. I grew up near Nashville, so the books set here get held to a higher standard, and the good ones earn it. The music, the front porch pace of a summer evening, the way everybody's business is somehow everybody's business.

What I love is how much range the state gives a writer. Nashville brings songwriters and producers falling in love between writing sessions. The Smokies bring cabins, fireplaces, and little towns that fill up with tourists every October. And the small towns in between feel like the ones I actually grew up around.

Everything on this page is set somewhere in Tennessee, and it's all no spice. You'll find Nashville love stories about musicians, Smoky Mountain romances with cabin and fireplace energy, the occasional Sevierville or Pigeon Forge tourist town setup, and plenty of small town Southern charm. If a book gets Tennessee wrong, it doesn't make the list. I'd know.
