Charles Martin is a New York Times and USA Today bestselling author known for his emotionally rich, faith-infused novels that often explore love, loss, hope, and redemption. Raised in Jacksonville, Florida, he earned degrees in English, journalism, and communication, and his books have been published around the world and translated into multiple languages. His novels include The Dead Don’t Dance, When Crickets Cry, The Mountain Between Us, and the Murphy Shepherd series. Martin lives in Jacksonville with his wife, Christy, and their three sons, and his novel The Mountain Between Us was adapted into a feature film starring Kate Winslet and Idris Elba.
