Clean Friends to Lovers Romance Books

Friends to lovers is my favorite, and probably because it's what happened to me. My husband and I were friends first, and there's no substitute for that kind of shared history. You already know each other's past, and the love story is really just changing the relationship a little.

These are all no spice, closed door if they ever get there. The friendships earn their shift, and the slow turn from "best friend" to something else is the whole pleasure. There's the college roommates who fell over four years and didn't fully notice, and the high school friend who never left town and was just waiting for her to come home.

Pick anything here when you want a love story that already feels lived in. The kind where the first kiss feels less like a beginning and more like something they both should have done years ago, and the history does all the heavy lifting.
