New to Newport

Hannah arrives in Newport Beach with two goals: ace her Physician Assistant exam and finally bridge the gap with her estranged father. Thanks to his help, she lands a coaching job at the local pool, only to have her summer, and her car, upended by Caleb, a fellow coach. Caleb is only in town to help his grieving mother sell his childhood home before heading to Boston for his residency, making romance the last thing on his schedule. But as their attraction builds poolside, a sudden family crisis threatens to cut Hannah’s time in Newport short, leaving them to wonder if their connection can survive the season. This story is a perfect match for readers who adore coastal settings, forced proximity, and emotional family reconciliations. It’s an ideal clean and wholesome pick for fans of medical romances, offering plenty of chemistry and charm without any of the spice. If you’re looking for a breezy, closed-door read that balances the sun-drenched vibes of a beach town with heartfelt themes of grief and forgiveness, you’ll find this to be a truly sweet escape.
