Description
Murphy Shepherd has spent his life rescuing survivors of human trafficking, helping them find freedom at a place called Freetown. In The Letter Keeper, danger hits close to home when his new wife, her daughter, and two other teenage girls are taken, and Murphy has to race against time with very few clues. The story carries strong Christian themes, sacrifice, and the cost of love.
This second Murphy Shepherd novel is set in the Colorado mountains and delivers tense, emotional suspense without graphic focus on the darkest details. Charles Martin writes in third person, following Murphy as he pushes through grief and fear. Readers who like protective heroes, faith-driven fiction, and a story about holding on when hope feels thin will find a lot to connect with here.
