Clean Beach Romance Books
Beach romance is what summer reading was invented for. Half the time someone pictures a romance book, they're picturing a beach. The image is that ingrained.
I love a beach. Florida and the Outer Banks are my favorites, and there's something about reading on the sand that the genre captures even when you're actually on your couch in February.
Everything here is no spice, closed door at the very most. The setting is the whole pitch: coastal small towns, family beach houses passed down through generations, vacation flings that turn into something neither person planned for. Clean beach romance trades steam for sun. Conversations after sunset that go on for two hours, and summers that change people. What you'll find: the grandmother's beach house she didn't expect to inherit, the surfer and the marine biologist, the small Gulf coast town romance, and the lifeguard and the tourist who turns out to be more than a summer fling.
