Description
Madison Ward has wanted to own a tulip farm since she was a girl, so when a local property goes up for sale, she is ready to buy. The owners have one rule: they will only sell to a married couple who can preserve the farm as a family legacy. Madison has spent years dodging marriage, but she concocts a scheme to solve the problem. She asks her brother's best friend, Devin Rhoades, to enter a fake marriage of convenience that they can annul right after closing the deal. Devin agrees to help, but on one condition. He refuses to fake his vows, meaning their marriage has to be real.
The story delivers plenty of lighthearted banter and small town charm as the pair adjust to life under the same roof. Their marriage of convenience quickly turns into a sweet, slow building romance. Everything is completely clean and faith friendly, with closed door romance that keeps the focus on emotional connection and mutual respect. Readers who love wholesome rom-coms with brother's best friend tropes will feel right at home with this one.
