The Roman Holiday Rule

The Roman Holiday Rule follows Lexi Walker as she embarks on a bucket-list trip to Rome to honor her late mother, armed with a precise itinerary and four mysterious letters to open at the city's most iconic sites. Her plans for a perfectly orchestrated getaway are upended when her mother’s paintings seem to come to life around her, and she repeatedly crosses paths with Mark Russo, a local architect who has strictly sworn off American tourists. While they initially challenge each other to a high-stakes photography contest to capture the heart of Italy, their competitive, witty banter quickly evolves into deep chemistry, forcing them to grapple with the "Roman Holiday Rule" that dictates a long-distance romance can never lead to a happily-ever-after. Readers who enjoy charming, travel inspired rom-coms with a touch of magical realism will be swept away by this delightful story. With its blend of breathtaking Roman scenery, rivals to lovers tension, and emotional depth, it is the perfect pick for those who are looking for a clean, imaginative, and heart-tugging read.
