Description
Callie Winter, a psychology doctoral student from California, travels to the Scottish Highlands for a family holiday, hoping to find a little peace and joy. When a snowstorm strands her in an isolated cottage with Gavin Mackenzie, a reserved Scottish handyman and children’s book illustrator, their clashing personalities make for an awkward start. Forced together by circumstance, they slowly open up about their pasts, sharing stories and cocoa by the fire as the snow piles up outside.
Set against the cozy backdrop of a Highland winter, Highland Holiday is a heartwarming romance about healing, second chances, and the quiet courage it takes to trust again. With its gentle humor, wholesome themes, and a slow-building connection between two imperfect people, this story celebrates the warmth of human connection and the hope that love can bloom in the most unexpected places.
