Famous for a Living

Cat Cranwell is a social media superstar whose glamorous life in New York City comes crashing down when a business scandal leaves her canceled and adrift. With her reputation in tatters and the online world turning against her, Cat escapes to the one place she can hide, Kannery National Park in Montana, where her uncle Terry is head ranger. Thrust into a world of snow, wilderness, and quirky park staff, Cat swaps designer outfits for parkas and brand deals for Polar Bear Plunges, discovering that life beyond the screen is both challenging and unexpectedly rewarding. Told from Cat’s witty, first-person perspective, Famous for a Living is a warmhearted romantic comedy about reinvention, self-discovery, and the courage to step away from the spotlight. As Cat navigates her new reality, she forms genuine connections with the locals, including the rugged, tech-averse ranger Zaiah, who couldn’t be more different from her former life. Set against the breathtaking backdrop of a Montana winter, this story blends humor, heart, and a gentle exploration of what it means to be truly seen, with or without followers. Readers who enjoy clean, opposites-attract romance and thoughtful reflections on modern life will find Cat’s journey both entertaining and uplifting.
