A Courtside Romance

Single mom and sports agent Fran Elliott knows better than to get involved with flashy athletes after her ex left her life in shambles. Then she meets basketball star Kendrick Taylor. Kendrick has a lot to lose, including the financial support he provides for his young niece, especially after a scandal tied to his former agent threatens his career. To fix his public image, Fran comes up with a plan to stage a fake romance. Kendrick quickly realizes she is the perfect partner since they both have something on the line. The story delivers plenty of fun fake-dating banter along with real emotional weight as both characters learn to let their guards down. Kendrick proves he is nothing like the reckless player Fran feared, particularly when her past resurfaces. It is a completely clean, closed-door contemporary Christian sports romance with strong themes of family and second chances. If you enjoy sweet romantic comedies from authors like Emma St. Clair and Melissa Ferguson, you will love this one.
