Pages I'm Turning: March 2026

Just Shelved: Recent Reads

The Perfect Putt by Annah Conwell - This series has been such a sweet no spice, no language, sports romance escape! I really loved the setting of this one, and I am excited to read the rest of the books in the series!

Just Friends by Haley Pham - This is a second chance, childhood friends to lovers romance that touches on themes of grief and has no spice and no language. I really enjoyed it, and I have tons more in depth thoughts in my reading vlog!

The Keeper by Charles Martin - This the fourth book in the Murphy Shepherd series, which is easily a five star series for me. It is fiction with mystery, suspense, found family, and the occasional touch of romance. The whole series is based on the idea of leaving the 99 to find the 1, and there are lots of Christian themes throughout. I could not put this book down, and I would recommend this series to anyone!!! (No spice, no language!)

The Ministry of Time by Kaliane Bradley - I had high hopes for this, but unfortunately, it was just not for me. It felt slow at the beginning, rushed at the end, and the romance was really just spice.

  • Content: frequent strong language, open door scenes (pages 229-234, 245-246, 263, 271-272) with allusions throughout, LGBTQ side characters

Nurture: A Modern Guide to Pregnancy, Birth, Early Motherhood―and Trusting Yourself and Your Body by Erica Chidi - There was so much good information in this book from pregnancy to breastfeeding to newborn care! I definitely plan to be referring back to this throughout the rest of my pregnancy and postpartum journey!

On My Nightstand: Current Reads

Could’ve Fooled Me by Jenny Proctor - I am LOVING this so far!!! This new hockey romance series is a spinoff of the Appies series. This book specifically follows Carter, one of the twins in When Alec Met Evie. I am really enjoying both Sarah and Carter’s characters and the marriage of convenience trope, along with the hockey! It’s so fun!

Wild At Heart by John Eldredge - I am PREGNANT and having a baby boy later this year. Because of that, I have been reading this book and preparing for this new season of being a boy mom! If you are a boy mom or have a husband or any other man in your life who you want to better understand, I would recommend it!

In the Queue: Upcoming Reads

The Night We Met by Abby Jimenez - Abby Jimenez’s new book just came out, and I have already heard such good things about it! I have also heard that it is completely closed door! Her books have been some of my top reads in previous years, and I am anticipating this to be a 5 star! 🤞🏼

Ina May’s Guide to Childbirth by Ina May Gaskin - Now that I am in my second trimester, I am starting to read some birth prep books. This is the first one on my list because I have heard it is full of lots of positive birth stories! If you have any birth books you recommend, please send them my way! I hope to share a pregnancy / birth reading list down the road for any of you who might be in a similar season!
