Just Shelved: Recent Reads

  • When Alec Met Evie by Jenny Proctor - This is the last book in the Appies series, and I loved it! It is a brother’s best friend, single mom, hockey romance, and I thought it was so sweet! After reading the entire series, I can highly highly recommend all of it!

  • Beg, Borrow, or Steal by Sarah Adams - I wanted to give this a chance because I have loved Sarah Adam’s previous books. However, this one was spicier than I wanted. If you want to hear more of my thoughts on why I wouldn’t recommend this book, watch here!

  • The Serendipity by Emma St. Clair - This is the first book in a new multi-author, no spice series, Only Magic in the Building, set in a magical apartment building. The romance centers around a billionaire and a baker with a magical closet situation. I really enjoyed this one!

  • The Cupid Chronicles by Courtney Walsh - This is the second book in the Only Magic in the Building series, that follows a chef and his neighbor with a magical newspaper. I really loved the found family and community in this one! Also, Courtney Walsh did have me crying at one point.

  • Create a Life You Love by Stephanie May Wilson - This non-fiction book is perfect for anyone feeling lost, feeling the weight of a big decision, or feeling behind. She shares her own story while also providing practical applications for you to create a life you love. I listened to the audiobook and really enjoyed it!

On My Nightstand: Current Reads

  • Petals and Plot Twists by Jenny Proctor - I am LOVING this book so far! It is a friends to lovers story, which is one of my favorites! This book also has cameos from the couples in the first two books, and I really hope that continues throughout the entire series - it builds such a fun community and found family!

  • The Anxious Generation by Jonathan Haidt - This book so far has been incredibly eye opening. It is all about how technology has and is affecting childhood, mental health, and more. I am learning so much!
